The Fever Forest Blooms tells the full, luminous story of how a determined monk transformed Wat Pah Pong from a ghost-haunted wasteland into one of the most influential monasteries of the twentieth century, and how the lineage he forged carried the Theravāda Dhamma out of rural Thailand and into the hearts of practitioners across the West. If you have ever sat with Jack Kornfield, listened to Ajahn Sumedho, or been moved by Sharon Salzberg's teachings on loving-kindness, you have already felt the reach of Ajahn Chah's hand.
